In "The Legend of Zorro," they're an old married couple — Zorro and, um, Zorrette — but a pretty hot old married couple, he with his hair hanging insouciantly down in his face, she all heaving-bosomy in a series of corseted gowns. They have a cute and spunky young son, Joaquin, a heckuva hacienda, and a problem that's really just something ginned up to launch the sequel: She wants him to quit being Zorro and be a family man. Though Alejandro continues to don the mask of Zorro to protect the poor and oppressed residents of the California territory from the greed of the overlords, he is torn between his duty and his desire for a more normal life with his wife Elena and their 10-year-old son, Joaquin. Now he must face that conflict again head-on in a crisis that threatens his life and the safety of his family.
