CAMDEN — Two people were taken to the hospital after a one-vehicle accident on N.C. Highway 343 Friday afternoon, authorities said.

State Trooper C.H. Allison said the vehicle was found upside down in a cornfield off N.C. Highway 343, just south of Sand Hills Road.

Allison said there were no fatalities and that two people were being transported to the hospital.

No additional information was immediately available, but Camden County sheriff’s deputies had to seal off traffic flow in the immediate vicinity of the wreck scene.
