CURRITUCK — The state Attorney General’s office is seeking dismissal of a lawsuit filed against the Currituck Clerk of Court by a Virginia teenager claiming the office failed to safeguard $100,000 left to her in a life insurance policy that her mother allegedly either spent or pocketed.
