Lannon’s building a larger facility

Lannon’s Animal Hospital is building a new location off Halstead Boulevard near the Nationwide Insurance building.

Brian Lannon, the hospital’s business manager, said the new building currently under construction will exceed the hospital’s current space by about 2,000 square feet at 6,500 square feet. Lannon’s currently is located on Hull Drive,

If the construction continues on schedule, the animal hospital expects to set up shop at the new location in March.

He said the new building will offer more space for the vets to see their pet patients. Its address will be 100 Lannon’s Lane on the west side of Halstead Boulevard south of the intersection with Ehringhaus Street.

The hospital’s current hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesdays, and from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursdays and Saturdays.
