Haddad bowing out gracefully
It was a case that he could NOT win. He played a game of poker and Mr. Steinburg called his bluff. I have to say that this incident quite possibly cost Luton his election. But then, it's really hard to conclusively prove that, since Luton did such a great job on his own of making that happen.
Mr. Bluster
Amen freespeaker. I think your comment that this episode cost Bill the election is right on. It wasn't the only thing, but it was the Big thing, a tipping point. And Haddad just blustered tooooo much.
This was entertaining at least
Stupid quote of the day "I have made the tough decision to extend an olive branch to Rep. Steinburg and drop the simple assault charges against him". Wow, Haddad is such a diplomat. All for a simple half second back of the neck grab. No, he should have requested that simple assault was not enough, it was assault AND battery. We need more entertainment.
Oh my!
Aren't we all surprised?
I am just sorry Bob had to endure this mess.
