Attorney: Session had less impact on schools

Compared to 2013, Elizabeth City-Pasquotank Public Schools isn’t facing many challenging or costly new laws as a result of state lawmakers’ short session this year, the school district’s attorney said last week.

I strongly differ on tenure views with him. No employee in any job should have tenure. This world takes everyone. Teachers are no more or less important than a nurse, a daycare worker or a bus driver.
