Caution — Fees Ahead: More students paying for driver’s ed

With state funding for driver’s education on the chopping block next year, area school districts are starting to charge students a fee for what traditionally had been a free training course.

Let's Be Fair To All

Anything school activity or course not required by the state shall be paid for by the users or receivers of the service. Is that the message? No exceptions?

I think I like where you are going.

Why not pay for it.

All these 'free' programs are paid for by others; if the students want to take Driver's Ed, let them pay for it.
