How would you describe your job? I oversee, supervise and train staff to mandate the safekeeping of our waterways, which is our number one goal. I oversee the treatment of the incoming wastewater and budget issues, to get the necessary
equipment to keep the plant

running and functioning properly.
Has your job been affected by changes in technology or other changes? We have computerized systems today that enable the operator to see that the equipment is functioning properly.
Besides salary, what benefits do you derive from your work? I love what I do. And to know that the citizens of the city are receiving services needed so our waterways are protected.
What are the long-term or indirect benefits of your job? Maintaining permit requirements as required by the state to continue to study to make the wastewater treatment plant a great place to work.
How do you see your job benefitting the larger community? As the city starts to grow, to make sure we have what we need to keep the citizens happy and the waterways safe and clean.
