Elizabeth City Police

Hope Lucille Shannonhouse, 37 of the 300 block of E. Cypress Street, Edenton, was arrested April 8 and charged with larceny and possession of stolen goods. She was confined at Albemarle District Jail in lieu of a $500 secured bond. She was also arrested April 8 and charged with a grand jury indictment and was confined at ADJ in lieu of a $3,000 secured bond.

George Clifton Overton, 46, of the 800 block of Herrington Road, Elizabeth City, was arrested April 8 and charged with shoplifting. A $500 unsecured bond was set.

Trevon Demark McCullen, 26, of the 1000 block of Goodwin Avenue, Elizabeth City, was arrested April 9 and charged with failure to appear in court as required. He was confined at ADJ in lieu of a $25,000 secured bond.

Christopher Michael Jones, 20, of the 1400 block of Southway Drive, Elizabeth City, was arrested April 8 and charged with driving while license revoked, communicating threats and harassing phone calls. He was confined at ADJ in lieu of a $500 secured bond.

Martin Luther Burley, 20, of the 400 block of E. Burgess Street, Elizabeth City, was arrested April 8 and charged with possession of schedule II of a controlled substance and possession of schedule VI of a controlled substance.

Camden Sheriff

Terrisita Lynette Torrance, 39, of the 100 block of Birch Gut Road, Elizabeth City, was arrested April 8 and charged with fugitive warrant. She was confined at ADJ in lieu of a $30,000 secured bond.

David Matthew Mead, 24, of the 400 block of Crooked Run Road, Elizabeth City, was arrested April 8 and charged with driving while impaired, driving while license revoked and possession of open container.

Pasquotank Sheriff

Bruce Allen Trueblood, of the 1400 block of River Road, Elizabeth City, was arrested April 1 and charged with probation violation, cyberstalking and failure to appear in court as required. He was confined at ADJ in lieu of a $10,600 secured bond.
