Elizabeth City Police

Trevon Demark McCullen, 26, of the 1000 block of Goodwin Avenue, Elizabeth City, was arrested April 5 and charged with simple assault and communicating threats. He was confined at Albemarle District Jail in lieu of a $250,000 secured bond.

Santonio Taurus Gregory, 23, of the 600 block of U.S. Highway 158, Elizabeth City, was arrested April 6 and charged with breaking and entering, larceny and possession of stolen goods. He was confined at ADJ in lieu of a $2,000 secured bond.

Mary Gale Bryant, 57, of the 1100 block of Commissary Road, Elizabeth City, was issued a criminal summons April 6 and charged with simple assault.

Jermell Grubbs, 18, of the 300 block of W. Cypress Street, Elizabeth City, was arrested April 6 and charged with failure to appear in court as required. He was confined at ADJ in lieu of a $300 secured bond.

Kendall Joseph Ranknis, 21, of the 1000 block of Wareham Street, Elizabeth City, was arrested April 7 and charged with assault with a deadly weapon. He was released on a written promise to appear in court as required.

Leneave Moses Thornton III, 24, of the 100 block of Bunkerhill Road, South Mills, was arrested April 2 and charged with two counts of failure to appear in court as required. He was confined at ADJ in lieu of a $25,000 secured bond.
