Elizabeth City Police

Edward Lerico Baker, 41, of the 400 block of Davis Avenue, Elizabeth City, was issued a criminal summons April 25 and charged with two counts of failure to appear in court as required. He was confined at Albemarle District Jail in lieu of a $350 secured bond.

Daniel Hickson, 26, of the 200 block of Pritchard Street, Elizabeth City, was arrested April 25 and charged with failure to appear in court as required. He was confined at ADJ in lieu of a $300 secured bond.

Louis Alvarado, 41, homeless, was issued a citation April 26 and charged with shoplifting.

Nehemiah Junior Cole, 50, of the 500 block of W. Fearing Street, Elizabeth City, was arrested April 26 and charged with assault on a female. He was confined at ADJ in lieu of a $300 unsecured bond.

Marquise Wintson, 17, of the 800 block of Parkview Drive, Elizabeth City, was arrested April 26 and charged with larceny. He was released on a written promise.

Ronnie L. Jackson, Jr., 21, of the 300 block of Persse Street, Elizabeth City, was arrested April 26 and charged with felony fleeing to elude arrested, assault with a deadly weapon on a government official and injury to real property. He was confined at ADJ in lieu of a $10,500 secured bond.

Ronald Daniel Dashiell, 50, homeless, was arrested April 27 and charged with trespassing. He was confined at ADJ in lieu of a $500 secured bond.
