Tairina Lavelle Spellman, 19, of the 600 block of W. Cypress Street, Elizabeth City, was issued a criminal summons May 4 and charged with simple affray.

Karla Monet Morris, 25, of the 700 block of Brooks Avenue, Elizabeth City, was issued a criminal summons May 3 and charged with simple assault.

Chrystal Morris, 22, of the 700 block of Brooks Avenue, Elizabeth City, was issued a criminal summons May 3 and charged with simple assault.

Yulonda Morris, 43, of the 700 Block of Brooks Avenue, Elizabeth City, was issued a criminal summons May 3 and charged with simple assault.

Charles Herbert Mims, 48, of the 100 block of C Street, Camden, was arrested April 30 and charged with shoplifting, resisting, delaying or obstructing a police officer and driving while impaired.

Clara Denise Gasby, 49, of the 200 block of Speed Street, Elizabeth City, was arrested May 1 and charged with failure to appear in court as required. A $1,000 secured bond was set.

Lawrence Dion Davis, 28, of the 1400 block of River Road, Elizabeth City, was arrested May 1 and charged with communicating threats. He was confined at Albemarle Districy Jaiul.

Elizabeth Marie Brown, 22, of the 1400 block of Northside Road, Elizabeth City, was arrested May 2 and charged with larceny by employee. She was confined at ADJ in lieu of a $5,000 secured bond.
