Sharetha Lavon Evans, of the 200 block of Beechwood Drive, Elizabeth City, was arrested July 7 and charged with simple assault. She was confined at Albemarle District Jail in lieu of a $1,000 secured bond.

Pamela Elaine Brothers, of the 200 block of Roanoke Avenue, Elizabeth City, was arrested July 7 and charged with failure to appear in court as required. She was confined at ADJ in lieu of a $1,500 secured bond.

William D. Dixon, of the 500 block of Everett Drive, Elizabeth City, was arrested July 7 and charged with forgery of instrument and uttering forged instrument. He was confined at ADJ in lieu of a $1,000 secured bond.

Valerie Lindsey, of the 1000 block of Walkers Avenue, Elizabeth City, was arrested July 7 and charged with assault and battery and assault with a deadly weapon. She was confined at ADJ in lieu of a $3,000 secured bond.

Carlos Garcia, of the 1200 block of N. Road Street, Elizabeth City, was arrested July 8 and charged with no operator's license and driving while impaired. He was confined at ADJ in lieu of a $1,000 secured bond.

Vonda Kay Whidbee, homeless, was arrested July 8 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, trespassing and communicating threats. A $1,000 secured bond was set.

Dontee Marice Harney, of the 1300 block of Southern Avenue, Elizabeth City, was arrested July 8 and charged with assault on a female. He was confined at ADJ in lieu of a $500 secured bond.

Joshua Roy Beach, of the 500 block of Bunnells Avenue, Elizabeth City, was arrested July 9 and charged with assault on female and assault by strangulation. He was confined at ADJ

Jerel Steven Seymore, of the 200 block of Walnut Drive, Elizabeth City, was arrested July 9 and charged with driving while impaired. He was released on a written promise to appear in court as required.

Ronald H. Jensen, of the 1700 block of Uncle Buddy Drive, Elizabeth City, was issued a criminal summons June 22 and charged with two counts of passing worthless checks.

Joanne Marie Hodges, of the 700 block of W. Colonial Avenue, Elizabeth City, was arrested June 23 and charged with larceny by employee. A $5,000 unsecured bond was set.

Latasha Lanette Carter, of the 400 block of Davis Street, Elizabeth City, was arrested June 23 and charged with failure to appear in court as required.

Roy Clifton Baum, of the 1300 block of Possum Quarter Road, Elizabeth City, was issued a criminal summons June 23 and charged with breaking and entering, larceny and stolen goods possession. He was confined at ADJ in lieu of a $5,000 secured bond.

Brandon Alex Hitchings, of the 1200 block of E. Ocean View Avenue, Norfolk, Va. was arrested July 2 and charged with failure to appear in court as required.

Johnnie Melvin Pettus, of the 1100 block of Parkview Drive, Elizabeth City, was arrested July 2 and charged with failure to comply with court order. A $260.50 bond was set.

Jermaine Anthony Cofield, of the 800 block of Beech Street, Elizabeth City, was arrested July 3 and charged with civil contempt. A $1,600 secured bond was set.

Ronald Joseph Norton, of the 200 block of Bingham Road, South Mills, was arrested June 30 and charged with assault with a deadly weapon. He was confined at ADJ for 48 hours.

Marvin McPherson, of the 100 block of Publo Road, South Mills was arrested June 30 and charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver schedule II of a controlled substance and sale and delivery of schedule II. He was confined at ADJ in lieu of a $15,000 secured bond.
