Currituck crime prevention funds. The Currituck County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council is seeking requests for proposals for $84,329 in funding for juvenile delinquency prevention programs. Free vision screenings offered. The Currituck Lions Club and the Lower Currituck Lions Club will sponsor free vision screenings at the Currituck Senior Center Friday, Feb. 22 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Beginners Bonsai class. The Currituck Center of the N.C. Cooperative Extension Service will sponsor a Beginners Bonsai" class in Barco on Saturday, Feb. 23 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost is $50.
