2nd babysitters course. The Currituck Extension office will sponsor a second summer babysitters course for youth ages 12 and older. The course will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily July 21-23 at the new Extension Center off U.S. Highway 158 in Barco. Cost of the class is $20, which includes materials, supplies and CPR certification. Class size is limited to the first 12 students to pre-register by submitting payment to N.C. Cooperative Extension, 120 Community Way, Barco, NC 27917. Checks should be made payable to Currituck County. Participants should bring a bagged lunch each day.
