EGOS & CITY COUNCIL

Go to a City Council meeting. Count the number of times members say "I". Observe how inflexible some can be. No wonder we have this huge mess. A costly investigation that no one wants nor expects to uncover any new facts. And an extraordinary City Manager and professional Mayor who must sit and watch this absolute fiasco unfold. Please, Council, check your egos at the door. Be flexible. Look for solutions. Do what is right for our City. Kudos to Councilman Donnelly who was the only Member to vote to terminate the investigation and completely exonerate our Mayor & City Manager. Everyone else dug in, voted with their egos, and thinks they won. Bill Hiemer
