College of The Albemarle’s bid to secure county property for a new baseball field went down on strikes Monday, as Pasquotank commissioners split 3-3 on granting the college long-term use of land in the county-owned Commerce Park.

Question the Priorities

I have to question COA's priorities. Technical and vocational education programs are lacking and so badly needed in this area. Now COA's administration is asking to further fund a Baseball Team, adding permanent annual overhead to the expense of running the college. Where are the priorities ?
