Makes the board more balanced

Sounds like the bill actually makes the board more balanced. It would with out a doubt be a detriment to everyone to ignore sea level rise for the sake of builders desires. Already insurance companies are unfairly reaching five counties inland (all the way to interstate 95) to subsidize coastal beach front insurance. Additionally to harden the coast line would ruin part of what makes NC beaches special, northern tourists might as well stay closer to home. What is disconcerting is that nearly all of our newly elected officials are northern transplants who might have different views of hardened beaches.
