Currituck man faces 30 charges after chase

A Currituck County man is facing at least 30 charges — including attempted burglary, driving while impaired and assault with a deadly weapon — after leading Elizabeth City police on a high-speed car chase early Wednesday morning that resulted in collisions with two police vehicles and crashes into three city utility poles.

JAIL and throw away the key

This article omits a lot of details of this criminal's past. He is a well known to many. Keep him off the street. He is a dangerous criminal. Great job, ECPD! You have kept many citizens safe. Bail seems really LOW in this case. Past history is an effective indicator to future behavior.
