Currituck Schools will be opening on a three-hour delay Thursday due to the high wind advisory that remains in effect until 9 a.m. Thursday.
No breakfast will be served due to this delay.
“We will continue to monitor the weather and road conditions, making adjustments to the schools’ schedule as necessary,” said spokeswoman Sandy Kinzel. “Any changes will be sent through our alert system and posted on our website.”
