CURRITUCK — With three months to go before the November election, the Republican challenger in the Currituck sheriff’s face has raised four times as much money as the Democratic incumbent, most of it from his own pocket.

Time for Honesty & Integrity in Law Enforcement

At some point, along the way, the current sheriff became an instrument of favoritism to the very wealthy of the county with perks and "cops" for hire on and off duty in a variety of capacities.

Fortunately, in a democracy, the rich only have one vote a piece and average citizens have equal voting power. Vote for change!

"As the Bell Tolls"

This should be the title of Currituck County's Sheriff race in November. With the overall dissatisfaction of their present Top Cop, the bell is starting a stolid toll of defeat for her against well liked Billy Long. I guess we'll just have to wait until the fat lady sings!
