ECSU OKs flight training fees

The former director of Elizabeth City State University’s aviation science program and one of only two aviation science students to graduate from ECSU with a minor in flight education say the lack of resources and the lack controls on admission were big causes of the troubles that eventually led to the program’s revamping.

I know Corey Kellam.

He's very dedicated to his goal which is to pursue a career in aviation. It's unfortunate for the reasons mentioned in the article he was not able to receive all the licenses he was told he could obtain while a student in ECSU's aviation program. I'm glad to see he's building time as a certified flight instructor, even though I would have hoped he would be able to start with a career in military aviation. I hope ECSU/UNC can get the kinks out and let this program flourish at ECSU.
