ECSU trustees approve elimination of 4 dean positions

Elizabeth City State University trustees have agreed to end the university’s 13-year use of the school management structure, meaning four dean positions and three executive assistant positions will soon be eliminated.

A positive step but...

After the merger of Student Affairs and Academic Affairs, that will leave one dept. with two associate vice chancellors, one interim vice chancellor, one assistant vice chancellor, a deputy admissions director, and a partridge in a pear tree. Sounds like middle management gone wild!!!
