Could Mr. Perry's involvement stem from a family connection with Mr. Jones? The picture of Mr. Jones published in the paper looks like he could be Mr. Perry's twin.
I'm confused
Is the applicant a 'Colored Person' (NAACP), black or 'African-American'? However, just the fact they have a position in D.C. on their resume would cause me to put their application in the circular file.
Whites will be a minority by 2043
Based on US Census data, whites will be a minority by 2043. I wonder if we will then have a group of white troublemakers looking into every nuance of life looking for perceived inequities.

Are we surprised that Cecil Perry, the little nimble puppet of the supposed National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, has sent his minion out to start a lawsuit against anyone and everyone involved in a process that was free from any taint of racial overtones by virtue of the process.
Let's put this annoyance in the trash heap on which it belongs. Along with the political career of Mr. Perry.
Dear Mr. Perry, if we promise to miss you, and put your name on a library, or a county building, or almost certainly on a building at ECSU, or even on a fire station, will you go away?
We promise, we will really, really miss you! If you go away.
