I took one of my kids...
to Coastal Pediatrics on Monday. Their sick child waiting area was packed, shoulder to shoulder with sick kids and adults. I was not ill when I got there, but I've now been sick for four days and missed a half day of work. I was very worried when i saw what was happening, but decided to wait it out. It took three solid hours to be seen. No masks were offered.
This was sadly irresponsible for a medical provider. I could have asked for a mask and they may have given me one, but I took my chances because I didn't want to look like an idiot being the only one wearing a mask. Now i certainly do look like an idiot.
