Even though Monday’s snow and sleet storm was long over, area officials advised motorists Tuesday to continue driving cautiously as some roads and bridge overpasses remained slippery.

Missed by 'that much'!

The near accident yesterday at Weeksville and River Roads was a squeaker; one driver was exceeding posted speed limit, in the rain, and the other decided, late, to turn left on a blinking yellow turn arrow.

Again!

It is not the icey roads that are at fault, it is the maroon's (as bugs bunny would say) that are thinking they know how to drive on ice!
