IRS, AG’s office warn of new phone scam

If you get a call from someone claiming to be from the Internal Revenue Service advising you that you owe the government money, hang up, the IRS says. The caller is part of a sophisticated phone scam trying to obtain information that can be used to steal both your identity and your money.
