The Raleigh-based film company Uptone Pictures in association with Moving Box Entertainment is scheduled to begin filming of the Civil War movie "Union Bound" in downtown Edenton on Monday. The film is based on the diary of Joseph Hoover, who was a Union soldier that escaped prison captivity with help from slaves. Scenes shot on location will include local re-enactors and other extras.
