Private Property Rights

Doug Lane does not have any rights or standing except to petition the state government. His private property rights have been trampled on by Bill Owens who refused to introduce any type of governmental redresss for him in the state legislature. No county commissioner has the courage to defend Doug's right to control his property. It is thus apparent from this situation which has dragged on for more than a year that hunters and/or their dogs are able to trespass on private property without permission and a majority of county commissioners think that it is okay. This situation does not violate the property rights of any commissioner and so therefore they could care less. When these hunters start trespassing on the land of important people, perhaps then we will see some protection for private property rights.
