Fair?

It is unfortunate and certainly not fair that some county residents have had no choice but be on city electricity and are held hostage to the exorbitant rates charged by the city with no representation or recourse.

If it's good for the goose,

If it's good for the goose, it's good for the gander. The city bases it's increase on the costs to provide water to their customers. Likewise, there's a cost incurred for the county to provide water to their customers, which includes the city. Mr. Olson, don't you think costs have increased for the county water system also? But hey, if the city doesn't like the increase, then they can build their own RO plant. It's just that simple. Take it or leave it!
