Elizabeth City police need help finding a male who allegedly exposed himself in the Museum of the Albemarle earlier this week.

The suspect is described as black, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing approximately 180 pounds, Lt. Mike Boone said. The suspect was last seen wearing a red and white collared shirt and tan shorts, Boone said.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, with the complaint reported by a museum employee, Boone said. Boone said arriving officers learned the suspect had fled on foot.

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to phone the Police Department at 335-4321.
