If the BSA caves to political pressure
they are not the organization I believed them to be. They should stand true to their expressed beliefs. Why in the world wouldn't they?
I'd be curious ..
what they allow when they say "openly gay". I know several gay couples that don't hide their lifestyle but they don't make it topic of every conversation. If openly gay means the scouts/leaders are gay but keep their relationship/sexual opinions to themselves, thats one thing. I wouldn't want those lines crossed with any of the kids. Boy Scouts isn't the time or place to learn anything about alternative lifestyles. They get exposed to enough alternative stuff just watching tv these days.

...morally straight about being a homosexual. My advice to the Boy Scout organization: "Don't sacrifice morals and ethics to please any minority or minority group that threatens to compromise everything good that the organization represents".
