Matters to Consider When Selecting the Next Chancellor

I have attended numerous functions at ECSU and listened attentively as Ali Khan, Gwen Sanders, and Benjamin Durant spoke eloquently about the "supposedly superb leadership" executed by the infamous Willie J. Gilchrist. They enthusiastically lined their pockets with hefty salaries, all-expense paid excursions, exquisite offices, and other unwarranted benefits. Then they quietly and meticulously elected to professionally castrate their beloved and esteemed leader. The three IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices) smiled and salivated about their collusions and acts of deception. So, to this end, it is hoped that the "new" chancellor will not have Ali Khan, Benjamin Durant, and Gwendolyn Sanders to navigate his ship. If so, ECSU will be destined for a major tsunami that will compromise all plans for upward mobility. As customary, ECSU will be the great loser. I watched how they threw "Big Willie" under the Viking Bus and later trampled him into murky mud. Then they violently washed their hands as if they were sanitary clean. However, "Big Willie" bit the dust! Does the status-quo leadership assume that northeastern North Carolinians are intellectually challenged? I was astonished when I learned that the above tricksters were actually chosen to serve as prominent members on the "New Chancellor Search Committee." This decision is totally ludicrous and carries zero merit. A decision of this nature is comparable selecting "George Zimmerman" to serve as the lead juror on the "Michael Dunn" murder case. Totally insane, right? My final statement is this, "(Matthew 9:17) Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved." The Prophet has spoken!

Hope

Whatever process has been used in the past should never be used again. Past decisions have resulted in poor management at it's best and outright theft at it's worst. I am sure the most qualified have either been looked over or not applied, considering past choices. Please do what's right for the taxpayer's, University, and students alike. Everyone in Elizabeth City and the surrounding area need ECSU to be "all it can be".
