The sequester ax is about to fall, but how much — if any — blood it will draw from the Albemarle is unclear.

Don't Worry About Sequestration

Why are we worrying about sequestration? Government employees spent $228 MILLION dollars on conferences kind of like the one we saw recently in the news that GSA had. The president is complaining that people will have to be furloughed, people will be laid off but no complaints from him about WASTING money on motivational conferences. Why?

Can't wait to see if The Daily Advance prints a story on how the White House is trying to punish Bob Woodward because he had the courage to report the truth that sequestration was Obama's idea. Seems the White House spent 30 minutes yelling at him over the phone and then sent him a threatening e-mail and now Obama's henchmen are trying to discredit Woodward. Saw a headline that says David Plouffe is claiming Woodward should be put out to pasture. Why? Because he had the courage to report the TRUTH. What a novel idea for news media to report the truth and let the people decide.

What if

If Butterfield and the other Democrats had done their jobs for the last four years, there would be no Sequester. And why only 1.2 trillion over 10 years when we add that amount to the debt each year????
