Interest earned on the $180,000?

Was inerest earned on this $180,000 and if so who gets it? I am willing to bet that Camden County earned interest on this unlawful fee but failed to mention that to the newspaper. The County commissioners and the county's lawyer knew that this fee was unlawful from the very beginning however still supported it through the years. They knew that they did not have the authority to impose the impact fee from the beginning but enforced it anyway. This goes to show you that you can't trust anyone so keep that in mind when you go vote in November. It makes you wonder why the county even pays the lawyer when he knew it was unlawful/illegal. It is very evident that good ol' boy politics and shady dealings are still going on in Camden County.
