how odd

This young man is off to college at a credible local public university, and that's great. I'm glad he's being acknowledged. But can someone explain why the young person who won an appointment to the United States Naval Academy--one of the most difficult colleges to win admittance into--didn't even warrant a full paragraph? NC State doesn't rank anywhere near as prestigious as the Naval Academy. Shame on you, Daily Advance, for not giving BOTH these young people their due.
