ECSU was targeted

The only school in NC that this would effect is ECSU. I hate to say it but it looks like it was targeted. While I'm no fan of ECSU's lack luster academic standards, the school does serve a huge need for all of North East NC. The impact to our region if this school closed would be dire.

Add this to a list of ways our state government is dumping on North East NC. Their only solution to our poverty is to dump on us and say "look to another state for your economic advancement". Just add closing ECSU to the list:

Closing

I think the writing has been on the wall for this. Just wait until William Barber and his crew get to town to fight this because you know that card will be played.

It should be played

That card should be played. If ECSU closed it would be devastating to the black population (and everybody else) in our area. Education is the key to advancement.
