Perquimans County High School’s graduation ceremony at 7 tonight has been moved indoors to the gymnasium due to concerns about the likelihood of rain and storms in the forecast, a school official said.

Meanwhile, Currituck High School’s graduation ceremony will also be held tonight at 7 in the gym instead of outdoors in the football stadium, school officials decided.

Northeastern and Edenton-Chowan high schools’ graduations are set for 9 a.m. Saturday.

The forecast calls for a slight chance of showers early Saturday, then a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 8 a.m. It will be partly sunny, with a high near 83, according to The National Weather Service.
