County billed $60K for storage

Pasquotank County is being told to pay more than $60,300 in storage fees to a company part-owned by a local automobile dealer for holding property his former partner argues belongs to him and should be returned to him.

It appears that the only winners in this case are going to be the lawyers representing all of the people involved in the lawsuits. But then, isn't that the way the judicial system is designed to do?
