Layton - Nobles
Mr. and Mrs. Johnny McCoy Layton of Edenton are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Bond Layton, of Raleigh, to Captain John Everett Nobles III, United States Marine Corp, of Morehead City, son of The Honorable and Mrs. John Everett Nobles Jr of Morehead City.
Miss Layton is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Pike Mitchener of Zionville, Mr. and Mrs. Sherlon Cale Layton of Edenton and the late Charles Heber Small Jr of Edenton.
Captain Nobles is the grandson of Mr. Leon Charles Mitchell of Goldsboro and the late Marjorie James Mitchell and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Everett Nobles of Morehead City.
The wedding will take place in March 2012 in Edenton.
