Shannon Elena Berry and Jeremy Michael Hayden, both of Weeksville, were united in marriage on Sept. 29, 2012 at MK Berry Family Farms in Weeksville. Kyle Hayden (brother of the groom) officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Faye and Maurice Berry Jr. of Weeksville. She is the granddaughter of Mildred Berry of Weeksville and Maxie Shannonhouse of Elizabeth City.
The groom is the son of Georgia and Jim Hayden of Suffolk, Va. He is the grandson of Joan Hess of New Windsor, Md.
Meredith Berry of Raleigh and Tristan Berry Laundon of Durham, sisters of the bride, served as matrons of honor.
The bridesmaids were Laura Ross of Boston, Mass., Janus Rogerson of Chapanoke and Laura Hayden Goldfarb of Portsmouth, Va., sister of the groom. Lucy Goldfarb of Portsmouth, Va. served as honorary flower girl.
Jim Hayden of Suffolk, Va., father of groom, served as best man.
The groomsmen were Anthony Rizoulis of Middle Town, Md., Jeff Sutton of Westminster, Md., Derrick Keltner of Chesapeake, Va. and Zenas Bateman of Weeksville. Evan Chorley of Raleigh served as the ring bearer. Shane Chorley of Raleigh and Landry Hayden of Washington, served as honorary ring bearers.
Ann Godfrey of Camden and Julie Brown of Raleigh, served as the mistresses of ceremonies.
The bride entered the ceremony driving her Massey Ferguson and the groom made his entrance driving a John Deere tractor. The couple left the reception on the John Deere tractor.
The bride is a partner at MK Berry family Farms in Weeksville. The groom is a Field Technician at East Coast Equipment in Hertford.
The couple honeymooned in Jamaica and reside in Weeksville.
