Dominique Evelyn Allen and Daniel Walker Parrish, both of Raleigh, were united in marriage on September 10, 2011 at 3 p.m. in Negril, Jamaica.
The bride is the daughter of John Allen and Teri Allen of Toms River, N.J.
The groom is the son of Anne and Carroll Parrish of Edenton.
The bride is the granddaughter of Claude William Allen Jr. of Oxford and the late Billie Smith Allen and Joao Filomeno and Natividade Ornelas of Madeira Island.
The groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hoskins Shepard of Edenton, Mr. Jimmie Moore Parrish Sr. and the late Elizabeth Ann Parrish.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a mermaid style gown with asymmetrical layers of organza on the skirt. The strapless, fitted bodice featured a sweetheart neckline and a symmetrical ruching accented with beaded crystal appliques.
Kelley Allen, sister of the bride, of Orlando, Fla. served as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Jennifer Critelli of Toms River, N.J.; Rebecca Head of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and Rebecca Parrish, sister of the groom, of Washington, D.C.
The brides attendants wore royal blue knee length chiffon dresses.
Daniel Phillips, of Edenton, served as best man.
Groomsmen were Jason Biddle of Concord; David Griffin of Charlotte; and Richard Carroll Parrish Jr., brother of the groom, of Columbia, S.C.
The bride is a graduate of NC State University in Raleigh.
The groom is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is employed by C.H. Robinson, Inc.
Following a honeymoon to Tahiti, the couple reside in Raleigh.
