Rhodes - White
Tiffany Loren White of Belvidere and Jimmy Duncan Rhodes of Hertford were married Saturday, Oct. 15th at Up River Friends Church in Belvidere. Pastor Richard Wilcox officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Cheryl White of Belvidere. She is the granddaughter of Tommy and Lona Stallings of Belvidere and the late Rollo and Renie White of Belvidere.
The groom is the son of James and Jan Rhodes of Hertford. He is the grandson of Estelle Byrum of Hertford and the late W.D. Byrum and Earl and Clara Rhodes of Columbia.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. She wore a satin diamond white strapless gown by Allure with scooped neckline and lace appliqud along the fitted bodice accented by a band of Swarovski crystals defining the dropped waistline. The ballroom skirt adorned with lace embellishments throughout the full skirt continuing to edge the hem and the long train accented by a row of satin covered buttons down the center. The fingertip bridal veil adorned intricate Swarovski crystals. The bride wore pearls and pearl earrings, gifts from her parents. She carried a full bouquet of dark pink roses accented with white roses wrapped with white satin stems. Attached to her bouquet stems were blue ribbons tied to picture charms of her late grandparents Rollo and Renie White.
Ashley W. Jethro, friend of the bride of Edenton served as matron of honor. Stefanie Harris, friend of the bride of Raleigh was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Jessica Rhodes, sister of the groom, of Hertford; Kelly Oliver, cousin of the bride, of Gaithersburg, Md.; Angie W. Pope, cousin of the bride, of Conway, Megan S. Loftin, cousin of the bride, of Baton Rouge, La.; Danielle Stallings, cousin of the bride, of Virginia Beach, Va. and Andrea Chaney, friend of the bride, of South Mills.
All the attendants wore identical floor length black gowns by Alfred Angelo of chiffon overlay with black satin band. Accenting their gowns they wore white pearls and carried full bouquets of dark pink roses wrapped with black satin stems,
Lilly Winslow, cousin of the bride, of Belvidere was the flower girl. She wore a floor length white satin bodice gown with ballroom tulle shirt and a black satin waistband by Jordan Sweet Beginnings. She wore white pearls and a halo of pink roses and baby's breath in her hair.
Best man was James Rhodes, father of the bridegroom, of Hertford.
Groomsmen were Joshua Rhodes, brother of the groom, of Hertford; Chay White, brother of the bride, of Belvidere; Brian Daniels, cousin-in-law of the groom, of Clayton; Dustin Sumner, friend of the groom, of Como; Nick Proctor, friend of the groom, of Hertford; Blake Proctor, friend of the groom, of Edenton; and Paul Copeland, friend of the groom, of Tyner.
Dayne Colson, cousin of bride, of Belvidere was the ring bearer.
The reception hosted by the bride's parent's followed the wedding at Up River Friends Meeting fellowship hall. Reception music was provided by The Fabulous Phelps Boys of Hertford. Fresh floral creations decorated the church and reception were created by Jeffrey's Greenworld of Elizabeth City. Kelly's Restaurant of Nags Head catered the reception meal and Tracy Hofler of Sunbury provided the wedding cake.
The mistress of ceremonies were Sandy W. Winslow, aunt of the bride, of Hertford and Kathy G. Stallings, friend of the bride, of Hertford.
Reception directors were Donna Shockley, aunt of the bride, of Dover, Pa. and Diane White, aunt of the bride, of Belvidere.
The program attendants were LeAnna W. Lee, cousin of the bride, of Belvidere and Hillaree Ullman, cousin of the bride, of Hertford.
Guest register was Jessica Phelps, friend of the groom, of Greenville.
The wedding music was provided by Lyn Winslow, friend of the bride, of Belvidere; Jeffrey Winslow, cousin of the bride, of Belvidere; Lynn Lassiter, friend of the couple, from Belvidere; and Adam Lassiter, friend of the couple, of Belvidere.
Sound director was David Jethro, friend of the couple, of Edenton.

Bridal shower was given by friends and family hosted at Up River Friends Meeting. A dinner party was hosted by Dr. and Mrs. Dwayne Stallings and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Mathews. A bridal luncheon was hosted by the mother of the bride and Donna Shockley, aunt of the bride. A lingerie shower was hosted by Ashley Jethro. A bridal party was hosted by Stefanie Harris and Andrea Chaney. A bridal luncheon was hosted by Sandy Winslow, aunt of the bride. The rehearsal dinner was hosted by James and Jan Rhodes, parents of the groom.
Melissa Stallings Photography and Cw Multimedia Design captured the event in photography and video. The couple honeymooned on a southern Caribbean cruise porting from San Juan, Puerto Rico. They now reside in Hertford.
