Watching Channel 3 in Elizabeth City is like watching a foreign movie. Words don't match the mouth movements. A Time Warner technician was at my house a few weeks ago, and he laughed about it.
I watch Channel 9 out of Greenville now, even though it is grainy. Hey, we did get a Panthers game on a Thursday night, but only because they were playing the Eagles. We in Elizabeth City are forced to watch the Redskins and Eagles, or anyone else except the Panthers.
Channel 10 is the dominant NBC affiliate. Why? Because we are forced to watch it now.
Ask Time Warner when we will have high definition programming. Not anytime soon is what you'll hear.
We pay the same as all other Time Warner customers, but receive subpar service. When will the Board of Commissioners realize that they are being duped by Time Warner? We get old equipment, no HD programming, poor channel reception, and no Panthers.
