Ex-presidential candidate John Edwards continually tells us that we've two Americas today — one for the rich and one for the poor.
And, now, it turns out that we've two Johns. We've John Edwards the truth-teller who fights for the poor and working class, and makes his lovely family the centerpiece of his public persona; and we've John Edwards, the politician, who is as smooth as Tennessee whiskey, who cheats on his wonderful wife while she's suffering from incurable cancer.
Edwards betrayed a lot of good people with his immoral and tawdry behavior. He deserves to disappear from public forever, because his hypocrisy is grotesque.
