I have seen a lot in my 89 years. I had a brother who was at Pearl Harbor, and I now have a grandson in the U.S. Coast Guard stationed on the West Coast. I myself have been involved in trying to teach young people about patriotism. Through it all, I've had questions I've tried to answer.
How did Christianity return to Germany and Japan?
World War II.
How did Christianity return to Russia? The Cold War.
How did Christianity return to Korea and South Vietnam? Other wars.
So how will Christianity take hold in Arabic countries after this war? The answer came in a "Parade" issue months ago when a military chaplain said Iraqis are asking to be baptized and Arabs are finding out about Christianity through the Internet.
So why are we seeing scriptures being fulfilled in our day? "Seek and ye shall find."
