In reading the daily blogs in The Daily Advance, I’m often humored and amazed. I also find a bit of information in some of them that’s of value. My personal opinion is that I don’t necessarily agree with the concept of being able to voice your opinion in a public manner without divulging your identity.

What is offensive, however, is the cowardice that is prevalent in many of the blogs. This charge is directed at the bloggers who make statements that are rude, hurtful, mean-spirited and downright despicable. Why don’t you “grow a spine” and sign your name to your blog post? I suspect it’s because it’s easier to take potshots at whomever and whenever, regardless of whether what you’re saying is true or not, while hiding behind a user name.
