For years I’ve been asking myself the following question: How could the United States carry on the slave trade, set out to exterminate its native peoples, drop atom bombs on Japan, burn down the Waco compound with 85 people inside, illegally and unnecessarily invade Iraq and Afghanistan, and torture numerous terrorist suspects? The answer came to me in a flash this morning after a nice long run: We did those things because our nation was founded on Christian principles, and because we’re the greatest Christian nation on Earth.

If what you have cited about the events that have taken place around the world by this government are 'Christian' principles then the actions currently being taken in our government prisons in Cuba are 'Christian' principles also. Pursuing your logic; if this unnecessary, and in some instances, illegal captivity and treatment of the occupants in the jail cells of the U.S. Naval Compound at Guantanamo Bay is being conducted under what you state are 'Christian' principles; I want no part of those 'Christian'principles.
