Letter: Articles show difference in two communities

I opened my newspaper one recent Monday morning and I was befuddled by the two articles that made the front page. One touted news that College of The Albemarle’s Regional Aviation and Technical Training Center was the recipient of the N.C. Community College System’s Distinguished Partners in Excellence Award. The award was presented to both COA and Currituck County and was the first time the award was given to a partnership between a community college and a county government.
