A dog tethered to the roof of your car is not the way a loving dog owner transports his beloved dog, I’d say. However, our presidential candidate, multimillionaire Mitt Romney claims that he is a dog lover and tells us that his lovely Irish setter Seamus feels most comfortable riding for long hours tethered to the roof of his car, even when sick.
Can you believe it? It seems like Romney will do anything to cut costs.
Seriously, do we and our dogs want this man in the Oval Office?

A very long time ago I was a registered Republican; I ran for public office and was elected, as a Republican, but no more. The Republican Party today is a far cry from the Republican Party I worked for. I would be embarrassed to be called a Republican today. When I look at the present candidates for president I ask myself, “You mean this is the best they can do?” No thank you, I prefer to be an independent voter, that way I can vote for the best people running for an elected office; not the Political Party Chaff the parties support today.
